Risen KIDS NEW VOLUNTEERS
Training Process
Risen Kids Training is designed to prepare each volunteer for success, any questions related to policy, curriculum, media and technology should be asked during the training phase. Once training is completed all volunteers are expected to adhere to our policies and know how to effectively serve in their role.
Phase 1: Culture, Policies and Expectations
During this phase of training the new team member will take an online video course introducing you to the culture of the Risen Kidz team, the policies and expectations. After this juncture an individual may determine if serving with the Kidz Team is the best fit for them. Once the course is complete the individual will sign a covenant agreement with the team listing our expectations of every volunteer.
Phase 2: Technical Training
During Phase 2 the individual will be taught how to obtain the curriculum, how to use the curriculum, how to operate media/computers. The individual will also be taught how to use the scheduling of planning center, sign in and sign out procedures of students.
Phase 3: Shadowing
Learning Goals:
1. Understand the order of service for Risen Kidz.
2. Be proficient in being the lead teacher.
3. Understand how to operate all functions during the Risen Kidz services.

ONLINE TRAINING
Our Online Training helps cover phase 1& 2 of our training process. Our training is a series of video modules that will seek to make you proficient in the use of planning center for check-ins and check-outs, as well as, scheduling. In addition to accessing our kids spring curriculum, culture, and policies. Please feel free to take the training as soon as you are able.
Accessing Planning Center
Planning Center is the system that we use for your scheduling needs, including blocking out dates where you are unable to serve. In addition to the planning center app, which you learned about in the training video, we are also providing this link to the log in page for planning center.
Accessing the kids Spring Curriculum
Kids Spring is the curriculum that we are using for our kids ages 4-12 in our kids church area. We've provided this link to help you access the log in page for the curriculum. You can access the curriculum using the instructions on our Accessing Curriculum Guideline Below.
